Fleet & Company Vehicle Keys in Tampa
Spare keys and fobs for company cars, vans, and work trucks, a key for every driver, and replacements when a fleet key goes missing. Cut and programmed for most makes at our South Tampa shop or wherever the vehicles are parked, Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm.
Not sure which key you have? Match it here ↓Keys for Every Vehicle and Every Driver
A company vehicle that more than one person drives needs more than one key, and a fleet that runs on one key per truck is a single lost key away from a crew sitting idle. We cut and program keys and fobs for company cars, cargo and work vans, pickups, and service trucks for most makes, including the Fords, Chevys, Toyotas, and Nissans you see on Tampa job sites.
A Spare for Each Driver
A working key for everyone who drives the vehicle, made while you still have a key that works. That's the simplest time to do it. See spare car keys.
Lost Fleet Key Replaced
If a vehicle's only key is gone, the vehicle can't come to us, so we go to it. In most cases we can still make a key where it's parked. See lost car key replacement.
Fobs & Push-Button Keys
Remote-head keys, flip keys, and push-to-start smart keys programmed to each vehicle. See key fob replacement.
Chip Keys on Older Trucks
Many older work trucks and vans use a cut key with a transponder chip in the head that has to be programmed before the engine will start. See transponder key programming.

Key Control for Company Vehicles
Vehicle keys drift the same way building keys do. A spare ends up in a former employee's glovebox, a fob goes home with a driver on vacation, and nobody is sure how many keys exist for van number four. A few habits keep it in check: know how many keys each vehicle has, tag them by vehicle, sign them out and back in, and collect them when a driver leaves.
When a key can't be recovered, it helps to know that on some vehicles, programming clears any key that isn't present. That's why we ask you to bring every key you want to keep, and it's also how, on those vehicles, a missing key can be shut out on the same visit. Tell us the year, make, and model and we'll tell you on the phone whether that applies. The keys to the building need a plan too: see master key systems.
When the Vehicle Belongs to the Business
Every car key job starts with proof that the vehicle is yours to key. With company vehicles that takes a little more care, because the person standing next to the truck often isn't the name on the registration. A photo ID plus the registration, title, or insurance documents for the vehicle is the standard.
When the vehicle is registered to a business, call first. Tell us whose name is on the registration and who will be with the vehicle, and we'll tell you what proof we need that it belongs to the business before anyone comes out. It's a short conversation, and it keeps the visit from stalling at the curb.
At Our Shop, Your Lot, or the Job Site
If a vehicle still has a working key, drive it to our shop at 4556 S Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL 33611. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm, and the vehicle has to come along, because new keys are programmed to it. Bringing several? Call ahead at (813) 832-4777 with the year, make, and model of each, so we can tell you which keys are ready to go and which need to be ordered.
If the vehicles can't come to us, we come to them: the company lot, the yard, or the job site. Our service vans carry key cutting machines and programming tools, so keys are made where the vehicles are parked, with no tow and no dealership appointment. We offer a 15-minute response to targeted areas, and our techs work in English or Spanish.

Fleet Keys by Make, and the Dealer Question
Fleets mix makes, and keys differ by make, model, and year. The VIN settles which key a vehicle takes. For F-150s and Transit vans, see Ford key replacement, which covers work trucks and company-registered vehicles, and Chevy and GMC keys for Silverados and Sierras. Ram trucks and ProMaster vans are on our Dodge and Ram page. We also have pages for Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, and BMW keys, and car keys by make covers the rest.
A dealer can make fleet keys too, typically through a service appointment with the vehicle on site. For most makes, we do the same work without the appointment, usually in a single visit. Rare or very new models may need the key ordered first, and we tell you on the phone which ones those are.

Call (813) 832-4777Fleet & Company Vehicle Key Questions
Can you make keys for a vehicle registered to my company?+
Yes. Call first. A photo ID plus the registration, title, or insurance documents for the vehicle is standard, and when the vehicle is registered to a business rather than to you, we'll tell you on the phone what proof we need that it belongs to the business before anyone comes out.
Can you make a key for each driver?+
Yes. Bring the vehicle and every key you want to keep using, because on some vehicles, programming a new key erases any key that isn't present. We test each key on the vehicle before we're done.
We lost the only key to a work van. Can you help?+
Yes. The van can't come to us, so we go to it, at your lot, yard, or job site. In most cases we can still make a key, cut and programmed where it's parked, with no tow. Call (813) 832-4777 with the year, model, and VIN.
Can a key that a former driver kept be stopped from working?+
On some vehicles, yes: programming clears any key that isn't present, so a key that's gone stops starting the vehicle. Tell us the year, make, and model, and we'll tell you on the phone whether that applies to yours.
How much do fleet keys cost?+
Every vehicle is different, so we don't post prices. The key type, the make, model, and year, and whether you still have a working key all matter. Quotes are free, and you'll have the price for each vehicle before any work begins.
Do you also handle keys and access for our building?+
Yes. For offices, shops, and yards, we design master key systems and install keypad, key card, and key fob access control. One call covers the vehicles and the building: (813) 832-4777, Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm.
