What a BMW Key Looks Like
Most BMWs from recent years don't use a key you turn. The key is a fob with lock, unlock, and trunk buttons, and the car starts with a button on the dash. Many are equipped with keyless entry, so the door unlocks when you touch the handle with the key nearby. Most BMW fobs hide a small emergency key for the door, for the day the battery gives out.
